Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is an American actor, singer and model. She was a model for a while before becoming an actress. Kotero was the female lead performer for Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. Apollonia, a singer/actress born to Prince in 1984 was one of the female singers of the 1980s that benefited from Prince. After appearing in minor films (and reportedly refusing to be a part in her role in the Purple Rain film Under the Cherry Moon) her name was mentioned and she was a part of the 1985-86 evening drama Falcon Crest. Apollonia's debut album debuted in 1988. However, the R&B/dance tracks were not well received by the music buying public. It soon disappeared. Apollonia continued to act (if somewhat obscure) during the subsequent decade. Small TV appearances small films and workout videos kept her busy. In 1997, Apollonia released a Spanish/English album entitled Stay with Me. Later, she returned to school and earned a filmmaking degree. Then, she started her own production company.
