Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America is an actress as well as a performer. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native, born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her heritage includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen's passion for acting was discovered at a very young age. In 1992, she was awarded her first role at her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled up for an agent, was cast on advertisements for newspapers and television. As well as learning in private classes, she began her acting career around that time. Bell appeared in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, which was where she participated in both the music and drama club. When her school staged a stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell was a student of music theatre in the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell left her college in 2001 after she was cast in the role Becky for Tom Sawyer. In the is the year she was the first to be credited in Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and she was only seen in the credits sequence. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
